Golden Icons

Golden Icons are a fusion of new techniques with an ancient craft.

The beauty of these flowers is first captured in a hi-resolution photograph often needing as many as 25 frames and then enhanced in post production. If chosen as a ‘Golden Icon’ a working print is then made and hand embellished with gold leaf. Once complete this preliminary work is reviewed and if it meets the required aesthetic qualities is then made available.

When the work is chosen by a client a Giclee print is made to size, and is then hand embellished by Andrew, mounted, and if necessary framed before shipping. In this way every golden Icon is unique.

Each hand embellished work is hand gilded on a Giclee print. As each piece is made to order each and is, as such, unique although there is a limited edition of 25 works made from each featured bloom across all sizes.

Each edition can be ordered in one of three sizes. 20x20cm, 40x40cm and 80x80cm. Because of the nature of the works they cannot be rolled are are supplied with window mounts or framed. Prices start at £295

Each work also comes with a signed Certificated of Authenticity.
